Where to stay in Orania

Orania is a small town on the Orange River in the Northern Cape. With us you can stay in town or right on the river. Coming from Hopetown, Vanderkloof, Strydenburg, Luckhoff or Petrusville? See our page on accommodation near Hopetown, Vanderkloof and Strydenburg.

The Vacation Home, in town. A three-bedroom house for up to six people in the middle of Orania, so the shops, restaurants and museum are all on foot. It has a full kitchen with a dishwasher, WiFi, air conditioning, a braai and a garden, and you park for free inside the property. Pets are welcome.

The River Stay, on the Orange River. A reed and canvas hut for two, open at the front, so you look straight out over the lawn to the river. There is a tin bath, a braai and kayaks. Solar and gas keep it running. There is good cell signal but no WiFi. It is closed for now, so join the waiting list and we will let you know when it opens.

The River Villa, coming soon. A new luxury villa next to the river hut. It is still being finished.

Why book with us directly

Booking here on our website gives you our best rate: from R1,400 a night for the first guest and R300 for each extra guest.

You deal with us, not a call centre. Ask us anything on WhatsApp or by phone before you book.

We take only one booking at a time at each place, so you never share the house or the river with other guests.
