Located near the Dorpskantoor (town hall) on Olienhoutrylaan street, the Orania Cultural History Museum preserves and showcases Afrikaner history and heritage. The museum houses several fascinating collections, including the Felix Lategan Firearms Collection with rare guns dating back to the 18th century. A significant exhibit is the historic Vierkleur Flag of the Zuid-Afrikaanse Republiek (Transvaal Republic), which was carried by Jopie Fourie, a scout during the Anglo-Boer War who was later executed during the 1914-1915 Rebellion. The museum also features an outdoor exhibition of agricultural equipment showcasing farming history, along with various weapons, tools, and historical artifacts from Afrikaner history in Africa. Guided tours provide context and stories behind the exhibits.
